AVIATOR WATCHES

Since 1932 watches were developed by the First Watch Factory-"Poljot" at the request of the Central Air Force Administration used for aviation purposes. During World War II all Soviet military planes were equipped with watches produced at the First Moscow Watch Factory-"Poljot". The watches were used by the Air Force fighter pilots and navigators were issued FMWF's wristwatches. AVIATOR line stainless steel timepieces are made in stylized military design. Large figures, hands and markings are filled up with special luminescent coating, which does not contain any harmful elements. All features required by the Ministry of Defense for maximum security in field use. Wide variety of sizes, different types of mechanisms offered in the watch line provides an opportunity to make a choice even for the most demanding customer.

BURAN WATCHES

Successful testing of Russian space shuttle BURAN (pronounced "Bour-ran") was carried out in the Soviet Union on November 15, 1988. It was a remarkable success of national science and technology, which opened up a completely new stage in the Russian Space Exploration Program. It was the first and still unique automatic (unmanned) landing of a shuttlecraft in the history of space exploration. Wristwatches of BURAN line were designed in honor of the event and based on classical heritage of both the Russian-Soviet watch industry. All BURAN watches and chronographs offered on our site are stainless steel and hand-crafted in Moscow, Russia using the latest Swiss equipment. We invite you to explore the world of Poljot watches!

KREMLIN'S WATCHES

Introduced in 2001, Kremlin’s is as sleek and modern as any watch made today-and this one is a beauty. Kremlin’s won a nomination of the "The Russian Watch of the Year" at the Moscow International Watch & Clock Fair. This magnificent gem is equipped with the mechanical/automatic, 31 bearing jewels (rubies) Vostok movement with date calendar. The stainless steel case design is immaculate, water resistant up to 10 ATM or (100m depths), offered with a bracelet from superb processed stainless steel, with 5 mic. Gold plating, executed in the modern style. Kremlin’s comes with genuine mother-of-pearl dial with the two-headed Russian eagle, which really sets the watch off and protected by a strong mineral crystal. You will have people notice and comment on this unique dazzler. Made in Russia

STURMANSKIE WATCHES

"Sturmanskie" were developed and produced by First Moscow Watch Manufacturer-"Poljot" for Soviet Air Force in 1949 by a special request, so the watch is designed as a military instrument and therefore built to full military specifications. Unique watch mechanism allows to synchronize indications of the pilots' chronographs and thus to perform coordinated joint air actions. It was particularly required in the course of joint operations of large air force units, numerous crews of strategic bombers, and transport aircraft. The basis of all Sturmanskie timepieces is the famous top quality Poljot 3133 hand-wound movement with shock resistant balance. The popular 3133 is based on the Swiss Valjoux 7734, thus quality of these watches is identical to those of the major Swiss brands. All Sturmanskie are stainless steel, include a revolving chapter ring calibrated for 12 hours or 60 minutes and set by the crown at 10 or 9 o'clock. Average deviation at 20C is +/- 10 seconds per day.

Vostok watches customers review
Someone sent me an email asking how I liked the Kremlevski watch that I bought in January. I explained that it is worn every day, and that I generally don't remove my watch except for showing it to someone who asks, or to correct the date after a short month. It has been to work every day, to formal dinner, scuba diving to 70 feet or so, and it has not skipped a beat. I don't think you can find another brand of automatic movement watch that is as accurate, well made, and as elegent as the Vostok premium series. They are superb. By the way, the gold plated areas seem to really be 5mcr thickness, as after 6 months of daily abuse, it looks like new in every respect. No worn spots from too thin plating anywhere on the watch or band. The fellow who asked me about my Kremlins' watch brought the new "mother of pearl" faceplate version to my attention. I took advantage of the sale here, and I bought one. I also bought an Attache watch, as I have never owned that style of watch before. I only live one State away from RussArmy, but I was again happy to see that my order arrived one day before I expected it. The only error was that the Attache I ordered was with a blue face, and I was shipped a black (gun) colored face watch. I'll keep it. The MOP Kremlins' watch is beautiful. I don't know which I like better, MOP or black, but each has it's place. They are both works of art. The Attache is a LARGE watch. This is not for a man with a small wrist. It is also a very substantial, complex design, and is sure to be noticed in a positive way. Some of the photos do not make it clear, but the numerals on the face are polished chrome, and not paint. In fact, the entire watch and band are highly polished. The crystal is curved to fit the shape of the body, and the back glass reveals the same movement that is in the Kremlins' watches. I like it. The construction and assembly are flawless. If you want a watch that you can see, and that will also be seen, here it is. You won't find a dozen Japanese battery powered watches on the shelf that look just like it. RussArmy, thanks again for the fast service and great products. I also like the new boxes and documentation. Best of success! Jim K. Jim Krupnik from UNITED STATES Email: jkrupnik@usa.net

"KREMLIN'S 72077 MOP" watch looks hotter than my friend's $10,000 Rolex. What more is there to say?
